A Logical Investigation into the Greatest Source of Human Suffering

Introduction: The Hamster Wheel of Madness

Albert Einstein, one of the most intelligent humans who ever lived, called the military one of the greatest horrors humanity ever invented.

He saw it clearly.

He said that armies were the "worst outcrop of the herd nature." He saw that the military degraded individuals into mere instruments. He saw that nationalism was a disease. He saw that the arms race was madness.

And he was right.

Look at the world today.

One nation builds a bigger weapon. The neighbor feels threatened. The neighbor builds an even bigger weapon. The first nation feels threatened. It builds an even bigger one.

It never stops.

It is a hamster wheel.

One pushes the other higher and higher. And there is no end.

The arms race is one of the most illogical things humanity has ever created.

Part One: The System and the Soldier

The system needs soldiers.

It needs them to fight
It needs them to die
It needs them to kill
It needs them to protect the system and expand its power

So it creates a story:

Soldiers are heroes
War is noble
Sacrifice is honorable
Death for the country is glorious

And most people believe it.

They say "thank you for your service." They hold memorial days. They honor veterans.

They never look at this from the fundamental point like Albert Einstein could:

Why are we really fighting?
Who really benefits from the wars?
Is there another way?

They follow. They accept. They repeat.

Part Two: Level 3 Thinking — Following the Herd

Most people operate on Level 3.

They are clever enough to function within the system. They are clever enough to solve problems, learn, and reason.

But they do not question the system and the shallow reasoning for their actions.

They do not question the arms race
They do not question nationalism
They do not question the military
They do not question who benefits

They are fed with information and propaganda by the system and accept it as reality without going deep enough on their own to realize what Albert Einstein saw.

They follow the herd. The mainstream. We can also call it the "Mass Consciousness."

They do what they are told.

They believe what they are told.

They die for what they are told.

Part Three: Level 4 Thinking — Seeing the Contradiction

Einstein saw the contradiction.

He saw:

That soldiers are tools of the system
That the system uses them
That the herd follows blindly
That nationalism is a disease
That the arms race is madness
That war—and the army—is the product of stupidity, not heroism

He spoke out against it.

He stood alone against the herd.

This is Level 4 thinking. Thinking on the fundamental level of understanding reality. Seeing the big picture that shows eternal truth, which outlasts all of this stupidity.

To give you an example: Take Afro-Americans 100 years ago in the USA, or women's rights in Europe. What is now clear to everyone—that it is absurd even to think this way anymore—took years and a lot of effort to get the masses to accept what is actually, from the fundamental point of view, today very clear for everyone to see.

The same goes for the army. Albert Einstein saw what most humans cannot comprehend or accept with their limited minds even today, because the Mass Consciousness has not yet risen, and most humans are trapped within this box of limited ability to see and understand what for some humans is so clear to see.

Part Four: The System Keeps the Wheel Turning

The system keeps the wheel turning because:

It needs soldiers
It needs fear
It needs enemies
It needs conflict

Fear keeps people in the box.

Fear keeps people from questioning.

Fear keeps people following the herd.

Fear is the system's greatest tool.

And the arms race is the ultimate expression of that fear.

Part Five: The Blind Leading the Blind

The worst part is that the blind ones are on the top.

They are the decision makers. They are not different from the ones at the bottom. 99% of the leaders are sheep—just in a higher position.

They are not smarter
They are not wiser
They are not more intelligent

They are just higher up in the same box.

They have:

Ego
Fear
Illusion
Blindness
Contradictions

They are Level 3 thinkers.

They are clever enough to climb the ladder.

But they are not intelligent enough to see that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall.

Leaders are trapped in the same box as everyone else.

They follow the herd
They believe the story
They are afraid

They are not outside the system. They are working for and trapped in the system.

And the system is mad.

Part Six: The Contradiction of Resources

They tell you: "The government has no money for public toilets."

But they have billions for arms—which bring nothing but suffering and return nothing for humanity.

Germany recently approved a 500 billion budget increase for the army.

Instead, they could invest this money in:

Robotics
Renewable energy
Healthcare
Education
Space exploration
Infrastructure
Anything that brings real progress

They chose fear over progress. They chose the box over freedom.

Because they cannot see outside the box.

Part Seven: The Waste of War

Imagine how much destruction we cause with wars.

Whole cities, entire countries, all the infrastructure—destroyed.

And then we have to rebuild it all over again.

So much potential, so much waste—for nothing.

It is a cycle of pure waste.

And we call it "normal."

The French in Africa

While traveling, I have seen it with my own eyes. The French are running around in Africa—thousands of soldiers in Senegal and other parts of Africa, driving around.

While in their own country, they cannot even properly control illegal villages built by gypsies or crime in their Arabic ghettos.

They try to maintain order in Africa, spending billions instead of investing these resources to fix the problems at home.

They try to control foreign territories, instead of controlling illegal settlements back home.

They have resources for foreign intervention.

But not for their own citizens. You can walk for kilometers along the Mediterranean coast of France with hundreds of people on the beach, but not one rubbish bin or toilet for their own citizens to use.

Portugal vs. France

Portugal is a poor country.

But even a poor country can put rubbish bins on its beaches and public toilets for its citizens. I was surprised to see and was impressed. Well done, Portugal.

Because it prioritizes people.

France is rich.

But its beaches have no toilets.

Because it prioritizes empire.

No money for toilets
No money for rubbish bins
No money for citizens

But billions for:

Foreign military interventions
Weapons
Arms races
Colonization

The money exists. It is just spent on the wrong things. And most French people accept it and welcome the army and arms race.

Part Eight: The Exploitation of the Poor

The Americans have slums.

Most of the soldiers who are sent to war come from these slums.

When they return, they go back to the slums they came from—just with more brain damage, or one leg less, or some other physical or mental damage.

They return with nothing.

Not even one extra square meter of land for their service.

This is the cycle:

Recruit the poor
Send them to war
Damage them physically and mentally
Return them to poverty
Replace them with the next generation of poor

It is a factory.

It consumes the poor.

It spits them out broken.

And it never stops.

And they still stand there and are proud of having served and send their sons and daughters back where they came from — not realizing—that for them, this war, the sacrifice they bring, changes nothing. They come from slums and die where they came from. Only the elite and higher-positioned people benefit.

They work for them, they die for them, and are proud of it. What deep brainwashing it is. Comparable with the fundamental religious people who go and put bombs strapped to their chest.

While the mujahideen goes and dies, the only one who benefits from his death is the one who sent him to die.

The Profit

The elite, the top profited from these wars.

The normal population suffered and paid the price.

Weapons manufacturers profit
Defense contractors profit
Politicians gain power
Corporations gain contracts
The elite gain wealth

And the poor pay with their bodies.

Their legs
Their arms
Their minds
Their lives

The soldiers get nothing.

The elite get everything.

The Illusion of Patriotism

The system tells them:

You are a hero
You are serving your country
You are fighting for freedom
You are protecting your family

And they believe it.

Because they have been told it since birth.

Because they have no other narrative.

Because the system has brainwashed them.

It is a contradiction.

And most people do not see it.

Part Nine: The Monuments to Madness

In France, they put monuments for soldiers who fought in Algeria.

They come to a foreign country, occupy it, oppress the people, and then they put a monument to honor themselves as heroes and place flowers on memorial day and their flag and slogan "Equality, Legality, Liberty" without seeing the big contradiction in front of them.

Where is Equality if you go to a foreign country and oppress and exploit its people? Is Equality only for the French nationals and no others? Where is Liberty if you go to a foreign country and occupy it and force them to accept it? Where is Legality if those people do not get the same rights under colonization as the French?

I am sorry to take the French as an example here; this actually applies to every nation, not only France. Whether it is Germans, Italians, Americans, or any other nation. As someone said to me: "Igor, people are people wherever you are."

Most of us cannot see the contradiction as long as the Mass Consciousness has not risen to that level of understanding. Even if it is so clear to see, the madness goes on and continues, like it did with Afro-Americans, women's rights, animal cruelty, or any other issue—as fundamentally wrong as it is, as long as the masses do not see it, it stays and is accepted as a norm. Even if some of us, like Albert Einstein, can see further than others.

The Brainwashing

The system tells people:

The army is necessary
Soldiers are heroes
War is noble
Sacrifice is honorable
Death for the country is glorious

And they believe it.

They honor the invaders. They honor the oppressors. They honor the killers.

Because they do not think.

They follow. They accept. They repeat.

Part Ten: No Country with Clean Hands

Let us look back at what the army was actually used for in the past.

History has shown that there is no country with a clean slate.

They all used their armies to maintain power or to enforce and expand power.

Germany: colonized, conquered, committed genocide
France: colonized half of Africa, Southeast Asia, and more
Britain: colonized a quarter of the world
Spain: colonized the Americas
Portugal: colonized South America, Africa, Asia
Japan: colonized and brutalized East Asia

And the list goes on and on, including the USA, Russia, China, India, and let us not forget the best wolf dressed in sheep's skin—the Vatican and their crusades.

No country has clean hands.

And all of them used the army to invade and attack.

The Pattern

Every empire follows the same pattern:

Build an army
Invade a country
Kill its people
Steal its resources
Exploit its labor
Call it "civilization"
Call it "progress"
Call it "liberty"

The French celebrate liberty while having occupied half the world.

The British celebrate democracy while having enslaved entire continents.

The USA celebrates order while having committed war crime after war crime.

And as for the Russians, we do not even need to speak ;-) they are all the same. Remember what my friend once told me: "People are people wherever you are."

It is the same pattern—just different uniforms.

Part Eleven: If They Were Level 4

If the leaders were Level 4 thinkers—real intelligence—they would see the madness. They would never go this far.

A Level 4 thinker would:

See the contradiction
See the suffering
See the waste
See the madness
Refuse to participate

They would find another way.

Because Level 4 intelligence cannot choose destruction.

Neither Putin nor Zelensky is the good or bad one. Both are just stupid, trapped at Level 3 and unable to rise higher in their understanding of fundamental reality. The same goes for most of our leaders in this world.

They are trapped in the same box.

They follow the same script.

They keep the wheel turning.

The System Hides Level 4

The public is not even told that Level 4 exists.

They are given Level 3 and told: "You are intelligent."

This is the key.

The system does not want people to know that Level 4 exists.

Because if people knew:

They would question the system
They would see the contradictions
They would refuse to fight
They would refuse to follow
They would refuse to obey

The system cannot allow this.

So it hides Level 4. It rewards Level 3. It calls cleverness "intelligence." And most people believe it.

Part Twelve: No Real Intelligence Can Reside Within the Army

No real intelligence can reside within the army.

It doesn't matter what position you have:

The soldier who pulls the trigger
The general who gives the order
The engineer who designs the weapon
The factory worker who builds it
The office worker who administers it
The taxpayer who funds it
The voter who elects the leaders

Everyone is complicit.

They all support the system.

They all keep the wheel turning.

The Mafia and the Accountant

It is like working for the mafia but saying:

"I'm just doing my job."
"I don't make the decisions."
"I'm not personally killing anyone."
"I just work in the factory."
"I just work in the office."

There is no difference.

You are part of the machine.

And the machine destroys.

The Justification

People say:

"I'm just doing my job."
"I don't make the decisions."
"I'm just following orders."
"I need to feed my family."
"I don't have a choice."

These are excuses.

They are not reasons.

They are justifications to stay in the box.

These excuses keep you in the system
These excuses keep you from questioning
These excuses keep you from leaving
These excuses keep you from seeing

Part Thirteen: Level 4 Would Walk Away

A Level 4 thinker would:

See the system
See the suffering
See the contradiction
See the madness

And walk away.

They would refuse to participate like Muhammad Ali did
They would refuse to support like Albert Einstein did
They would refuse to be complicit like Gandhi did

They would choose freedom over comfort.

A Final Reality Check

A Single Year's Budget — A World Transformed

To truly grasp the scale of this madness, we don't need to look at the United States or China. Let's look at Germany. For 2025, Germany's military budget is over 86 billion euros.

What could a single year of that budget achieve if it were invested in life instead of death?

Free Internet for the Entire World

The entire Starlink satellite constellation, which provides global internet coverage, is estimated to have cost around $10 billion (approx. €9.2 billion) to develop and deploy.

With Germany's 2025 military budget, you could provide free high-speed internet to the entire planet for 15 to 20 years

In one year, Germany alone could connect every human being on Earth to the sum of all human knowledge.

Other Possibilities

That same 86 billion euros could also:

Fund the entire energy transition for years
Cover Germany's citizen's income (Bürgergeld) for almost two years
Build over 1.7 million affordable housing units (at €50,000 each)
Finance the modernization of Germany's education and digital infrastructure many times over

The Contrast

This is what we are talking about. The money is there. The resources are there. The technology is there.

The only thing missing is the will to think beyond the box.

The Global Madness

And this is just the budget of one small country.

Imagine how much we actually waste on wars. Imagine the destruction that wars themselves produce—and then the cost to rebuild it all over again. It is much more. And we spend this money every year. Every year. Wasting it on the military.

One country spends 86 billion euros on weapons
The entire world spends over 2.2 trillion dollars on the military every year
The destruction of war costs trillions more to rebuild
And we do it every single year

It never stops.

If the world redirected its military spending for just one year:

End global hunger — forever
Provide clean water to every human — forever
Build affordable housing for the homeless — in every country
Free healthcare for all — worldwide
Free education for all children — globally
Build renewable energy infrastructure — ending the fossil fuel era
Connect the entire world to the internet — free for everyone
Fund space exploration — to expand human knowledge
Build green cities — with parks, theaters, and public spaces
And still have billions left over

This is not a fantasy. This is a calculation.

The money exists. The resources exist. The technology exists.

The only thing missing is the will to see the truth.

The Human Resources

Not only the money. Take the human resources. How much destruction wastes human potential. All these people fighting, all these soldiers. All that is force we could use for building roads, building houses, building the future for humanity, building paradise.

Instead, they are used for destruction—or just sitting, waiting for the war to start.

The Waste of Human Potential

We are not just wasting money. We are wasting human lives.

Millions of soldiers
Millions of engineers
Millions of factory workers
Millions of support staff

All of them dedicated to building weapons, training for war, maintaining the machine, waiting for orders.

The human resources are there. They are just misdirected.

Imagine soldiers building roads instead of guarding borders. Imagine engineers designing schools instead of weapons. Imagine factory workers producing solar panels instead of tanks. Imagine the entire military-industrial complex redirected toward life.

How much could we achieve?

End homelessness in every country
Build sustainable cities worldwide
Connect every village to clean water and electricity
Create a global education system
Build the infrastructure for a new world

The force exists. It is just pointed in the wrong direction.

The Sandcastle of Humanity

Imagine three children on a beach.

One child is building a sandcastle. Another child is sitting nearby, doing nothing. A third child comes along and stomps on the castle, destroying it.

How far does that get? Not far.

This is the madness we call normal. One builds. One sits. One destroys. Nothing is built. Potential is wasted. Time is wasted.

Now imagine the same three children working together. The one who was sitting starts helping, bringing water and sand. The one who was destroying starts carefully shaping towers and walls. Together, they build a magnificent castle—bigger, stronger, more beautiful than any of them could have built alone.

That is the choice we face.

What Einstein Saw

This is what Albert Einstein saw. If you look at this big picture, you see that it is madness. That is really madness.

We tell people we have no money for public toilets. We give them cheap plastic ones, emptied maybe once a year. While we waste billions on destruction.

No money for toilets
No money for dignity
No money for basic human needs

But billions for:

Weapons
War
Destruction
The arms race

The system has money for death. But not for life.

Einstein saw the contradiction. He saw the waste. He saw the suffering. He saw the system. He saw the box. And he spoke out against it; he stood alone against the herd.

Some may tell you that a person who thinks this way is living in an illusion, insisting that we need the army to protect us. But I am telling you: just because everyone around you is going mad, you do not have to join them. Not unless you choose to accept that you are just another sheep, rather than the intelligent human being that God created you to be.

The Final Truth

The money exists. The resources exist. The technology exists. The human potential exists.

The only thing missing is the will.

If we redirected just one year of global military spending, we could bring paradise to Earth—today. Not in 100 years. Not in 50 years. Now.

The choice is ours. Alone, we build little. Together, we build a castle.
